7 Wellness Trends for 2022

Over 16,000 Americans were surveyed to identify wellness trends.

Immune health - 55% of the US population prioritized immune wellness.
Examples include red light therapy, IV therapy (vitamin drip), detox programs, injection therapy (such as B12 shots), infrared saunas, and salt therapies. 

Intellectual wellness - 26% of Americans top three: challenge the mind through learning a new instrument, painting and mentally stimulating activities such as writing and reading poetry.

Mental wellness - 31% of Americans most important area of wellness
43% want to reduce stress. Millennials are the most stressed generational group.

Sexual wellness - 29% report likely to try new sexual wellness activities.
32% seek information or resources to help improve their sexual wellness and skills.

Facial exercises - 28% interested in doing facial exercises.
48% prioritized skincare. Businesses are expanding workouts to facial workouts. 

Wellness with Pets - 40% interested in using salons, spa, and fitness establishments.
37% say they’d take part in goat yoga, cat cafés, spending time with horses, etc.

Workout classes with music - 71% are strongly motivated by music.
45% exercising 3+ times per week are motivated by music. 32% often chose fitness classes based on the type of music being played.
